Fully mobile Permits-to-Work.

The highest risk work has the highest amount of paperwork. SignOnSite simplifies this by making it a fully mobile workflow.

By making the Permits fully digital:

  • The process is made easy, which means people don't avoid doing it;
  • Workers engage with the process, keeping them safer;
  • Site Teams have a real-time view, ensuring compliance;

Fully auditable.

Whether it's for FSC Accreditation or a Workers' Compensation claim, you want to be able to show how and why a permit was approved and the conditions around it. The SignOnSite Permits Workflow gives you a full audit log, including signatures and photos.

Live Register.

Large projects can have hundreds of active permits a week, but all it takes is one permit not being closed out properly for disaster to strike.

With the live Permits register, not only are you aware of the volume of high-risk activities taking place on your project but you are also notified if a person with an open permit leaves the site – no more abandoned fire watches.

FAQs

How does SignOnSite help me make the Permits process fully digital?

SignOnSite’s Permits Workflow Product can replace your paper or static form-based permits processes with a simple, powerful and customisable workflow tool built for requesting, issuing and managing your High-Risk Work Permits in the field.

How does Permits work in SignOnSite?

Workers or a Subcontractor Supervisor/Leading Hand may submit a permit request. The site manager then approves the request, and the sender is notified in real-time through the app so they may continue with the job. The workflow also includes ongoing and concluding checks, setting required and optional information at each process stage in a centralised template, and offering suspension, cancellation, rejection, re-submissions, in-progress and close-out workflows.

Do site managers get notified when the permit is about to expire?

All active and issued permits are visible to site managers. When a permit is about to expire, a notification is sent to the site manager. In addition, the briefings tool can notify the workers about any outstanding permits they need to complete.
